They Say The World Is On Fire
They Say the world is on fire.
Who knows what actions may transpire
when lunatics scream beneath makeup cream
and tag each other in a prescient team.
The setting ablaze with light from the rave
as hands sway in decadence
yet feet stomp in cadence
as the phonemes of society are interpreted ad nauseam.
The clang of ideological thunder confuses the mind.
The light bedazzles the senses.
A spark in the dark
and dissonance descends into dissidents.
